Protest media coverage that excuses abusive behavior, blames the victim or trivializes abuse. Speak out against magazines, TV shows, movies or online media that glorifies violence against women. The best way to make your voice heard is via the offending entity’s website, Facebook and/or Twitter page or other social media sites. Organize a media protest by your group or organization via the group’s own social media sites.
If you are a survivor, speak out by writing an article about your experiences or a protest against something offensive in the media.
