Protest media coverage that excuses abusive behavior, blames the victim or
trivializes abuse. Speak out against magazines, TV shows, movies and online media (including YouTube) that glorifies violence against women. The best way to make your voice heard is via the offending entity’s website, Facebook or Twitter page. Post your comments on your own social media sites as well and that of any group or organization you belong to.
If you’re a domestic violence survivor, speak out by writing an article about your experiences as a protest against offensive media.
