On January 14, an attractive, vibrant 15-year-old named Phoebe Prince was found hanging in the stairwell of her house — the result of repeated verbal taunts, cyber bullying and physical threats from several of her high school classmates in the small New England town of South Hadley, MA.
This week, I’ll be talking more about the topic of bullying with school psychologist and psychotherapist Israel Kalman, from Bullies to Buddies, about his unusual but highly successful bully-prevention methods.
Kalman also says it’s not a school’s fault if there’s bullying in the school; and, in a recent blog article for Psychology Today, he even supported the efforts of the much-maligned high school in South Hadley, MA where Phoebe Prince attended. Can’t wait to hear what he has to say on this topic!

Our True Crime Report this week features horror author, filmmaker and notorious true crime comic book publisher Hart D. Fisher, who blogs on the InColdBlog site. We’re going to talk about the brutal rape and murder of the woman he refers to as his first love and his heroic and continuing efforts to ensure that not only was the killer was caught and convicted but that he’ll remain in jail for life.
And, last but not least, we’ve got our “Let’s Catch a Criminal” segment where I feature a different US Crime Stoppers group each week and maybe we can help them catch a bad guy. Tonight, I’ll be speaking with Lt. Albert Anderson, Coordinator of the Nassau County Crime Stoppers, Long Island, NY and maybe we can help them catch a criminal!
IT’D BE A CRIME NOT TO LISTEN!
